Story

As part of our fundraising activity in celebration of 230 years since the Company
was founded, WHSmith’s Big 230km Walk will see ten teams each walking 23km on
Friday 16th September!

Through this event, we will be raising money for the WHSmith Trust (registered charity
no.1013782) in order to continue our journey to make a positive difference in
the communities WHSmith colleagues live and work. The WHSmith Trust also funds
three main causes which include: large scale literacy projects across the UK
through our partner the National Literacy Trust; donations to local schools to
fund books and other literacy resources; and employee nominated charities.
