Story
This is the third year I have taken part, and I hope to smash my P. B. of 59:37 but more importantly, I hope to smash my fundraising P. B. So please donate if you can!
There's been a lot of blood, sweat and tears along the way, well not so much blood and tears, but definitely the other stuff 😂 and if by running, I can ultimately help people who are suffering at the worst time of their life, then every blister, ache, twinge, sprain, bruise, scrape and ridiculous muscle-back tan line will be worth it!!
Staff across The Pinnacle Learning Trust are taking on the challenge of running, jogging or walking the Manchester 10K on Sunday 22 May. We're fund-raising for three fantastic causes, supporting local, national and international charities. Our local charity is Maggie's Oldham, our local cancer care centre. We're supporting the UK Sepsis Trust in memory of our former OSFC and Hathershaw student, Bavisha Patel, and UNHCR, supporting refugees across the world. Many thanks in advance for any support you can give to any or all of these charities. We will do our best on the day to make everyone proud! To make a donation to one or all of our chosen charities, please use the links below. The first is for Maggie's, the second for the UK Sepsis Trust and the third for UNHCR. We haven't been able to label them separately, unfortunately, but the details are clear when you link on each.
