Story
Ceri and Sheila are doing the 10 mile Midnight Walk on Friday 24 June in Newport, Gwent. We're raising funds for wonderful St.Anne's Hospice in Gwent - the only in-patient hospice in Gwent.
As you may already know Ceri's Dad - John - died last summer after a putting up an almighty fight against bowel cancer, which spread to his liver and brain. A fighter to the absolute last, the cancer only became unbearable for him in the last days of his life and in final hours he was given the pain relief, dignity and supreme care that made sure that the end was peaceful, calm and kind. But, running a hospice at this standard costs a lot and currently there are only 10 beds. More funds are badly needed to keep the hospice running and extend the care available.
Please support our Midnight Walk - don't worry if you can only spare a little, every single penny counts.
Ceri and Sheila will be remembering John and Mairead, Sheila's wonderful Mum, and if you want to come and join in the fun, all of the details of the walk are available on St.Anne's website: http://www.stanneshospice.org.uk/page40.html
Thanks so much for your support!
love, Ceri and Sheila
