Originally part of the national network of Children’s Centres, the Maple Tree was saved from permanent closure by a group of committed and enthusiastic parents, supporters and the local community. It is now funded entirely by donations, grants and fundraising.  Its aim is to give every child and family the best start in life, especially families with children aged under 5.  

As a family, we have benefited immensely from The Maple Tree. It’s been a valuable source of support for the both of us as parents, including helping Ceri to navigate the ups and downs of motherhood and surviving with two under 2. It has also been important for Henry and Charlotte socially and emotionally.

We would like to help give something back in return and ensure that The Maple Tree can continue to support other parents, mothers  and families in the future. 

Henry and Charlotte will be doing a sponsored toddle (Henry - 1km, Charlotte - 500m), whilst Tom & Ceri will be running Thame 10k. We would be grateful for any sponsorship, no matter how small, for this important charity that is very close to our hearts.
