Hello,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.
As some of you have probably already heard, one of my mad friends called Sandra has persuaded me to join her team in a challenge to walk 100Km (or 3 937 007.87 inches) in just 24 hours. This gives plenty of time for blisters, aching muscles and bad tempers but no time for sleep!
The training for the big day (17th July) started yesterday with a trek along a beautiful 26Km stretch of the course in the blazing sunshine. If all goes to plan the next time we cover that ground we'll be dodging the cows and sheep in the dark having already completed 65Km of the challenge.
Our team of 4 needs to raise at least £2,000 which is split between Oxfam and the Ghurka's. Please help me reach my own target of £500 (exc gift aid) by making a donation online. I promise I won't ask for any sponsorship money again for at least the next year!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
