We are there when it matters to support people through dying or grief.

Story

Our incredible Husband/ Dad/ Nonno Lucio devastatingly lost his hard fought battle with cancer on the 4th of September 2023. After 8 extremely difficult months, he spent his final 12 days at Manorlands hospice, enabling us as a family to spend as much time with him and together whilst ensuring he was cared for in as lovely an environment possible in the circumstances.

We cannot thank enough every single staff member at Manorlands, for everything they did both for Luc and us as a family during the most difficult time. We will be forever grateful for the warmth, kindness, care and compassion shown.

I had already applied for a charity place with Manorlands and was successful prior to all of the above happening to us this year . I will be taking on my first (and possibly last!!) ever Marathon as I hit the big 4-0! It is even more poignant and takes my desire to complete what I know will be by far my biggest running challenge yet to another level of determination. I will do my best to make my wonderful father in law proud. He was hopeful of being able to come and cheer and support me as he always has done over the years. Although he won't be there in person I know he will be with me every step of the way and have my back. 💙🤍💛
