Story

Hey there!!! Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Being the 'crazy cats' that both Ami and I are, we have decided to join in with this organised event to abseil down the keep at Glencorse Barracks.

We are doing this in memory of our dear friends husband, Sav (Corporal William Savage), who was tragically killed whilst the Mastiff armoured vehicle he was travelling in was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED) in Afghanistan during a patrol on the 30th April this year. He leaves behind our brave friend and his devoted and gorgeous wife, Lynzy and his newly born and very handsome son, Connor. Swav Sav will live on through them both!

Whilst doing this we will be raising money for Support Our Soldiers (SOS) whose aim is...

Encouraging and providing support for members of the British Armed Forces on overseas operations and their families at home...

Check them out....

We hope to raise awareness of the amazing work our soldiers do and sacrifices they make in 'just doing their job!'
