John Owen-Jones is an award winning and record-breaking West End and Broadway actor and singer. He is best known for his performances as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables and as The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera. He is the West End’s longest running Phantom with nearly 2000 performances in the role. John has performed extensively in theatre all over the UK at prestigious venues and has appeared on television and radio in such shows as Scott and Bailey,The Bill, The Royal Variety Show, Friday Night Is Music Night and Children In Need. He has performed in concert around the world from Wales to Australia (and most places in between). John has released three albums. The independently released ‘Hallelujah’ (2006) and on the Sain label \'John Owen-Jones\' (2009) and \'Unmasked\' (2011). John has also performed some of his most popular music show songs in Welsh and is appearing on the S4C reality tv show ‘Cariad@iaith’ (love4language) as part of his bid to become fluent in the language.
