The Centre of Hope is a vocational training centre for poor students in Nakuru, Kenya and just one project that is managed by the Nakuru Christian Professionals Association.
Located on the edge of Nakuru in the Great Rift Valley, the training centre provides places for about 100 daytime students in a variety of skills to a national certificate level. It also assists some students into employment. Hand in Hand is a partner and not the main funding provider.
Centre of Hope provides skills training for youths who cannot afford the fees of other institutions. It has a programme of courses which include carpentry, accounting, tourism, beauty and hairdressing and there is room for about 50 students to board at the centre.
