Story

McColls, the leading neighbourhood retailer, are proud to have raised £1million for Great Ormond Street Hospital Childrens Charity (GOSH Charity) towards McColls house and are thrilled to commit to raise a further £500,000 towards the GOSH Play Team. Seriously ill children from across the UK travel to Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) for specialist treatment for rare and complex conditions. GOSH Charity funds a team of 45 play workers and play specialists who help around 300400 children and families each day. The team, made up of both play workers and play specialists, bring fun into the hospital while helping to ease fears and concerns. They let children be children, helping them to feel comfortable and relaxed, while working with them to prepare for life-saving treatment and surgery. By partnering with GOSH Charity, McColls colleagues and customers will support families at the heart of their communities, right across the UK.
