Story
Having no choice but to leave my home country, Egypt, at the age of only eleven years old, due to the 2011 Egyptian Revolution, has sparked my lifelong commitment to helping refugees. I had the privilege of knowing I was going to be moving somewhere else, that I would be safe and educated; however, this was not the case for many others. I cannot imagine the fear of not knowing whether a person will ever be able to return home, or even see their family members again. This is why I feel it is my duty to help, in any way that I can, and provide even a slight glimpse of hope for refugees.
As Winter approaches, refugees are in dire need for clothing, blankets, food, and electricity. Here are ways in which your donations would make a huge difference in their lives:
"$20 per month can provide a refugee child with school supplies so they can make their dreams a reality."
"$30 per month can provide a kitchen set to a refugee family so they can prepare warm, homemade meals."
"$40 per month can provide plastic tarps to two refugee families that will protect them from intense weather."
"$50 per month can provide sleeping mats to four refugees so they can sleep comfortably off the ground."
Please join me in supporting refugees all over the world, especially during today's trying and difficult times. Any amount will make a huge and lasting impact, no matter how small. Thank you so much!
