AgeConcern gave me the opportunity to befriend a lovely lady called Maude Clarke...she passed away a a few weeks ago - a gem at 97years old...regardless of age, stage and life happenings.....she was my friend and I will miss her

I've always loved the older generations......they have knowledge and stories from sometimes a forgotten past....some might be frail but inside they are still just like you and me....it saddens be that they are not given the respect and support they deserve. No-one should ever be lonely!

We will all get old....which actually is a privilege - let's hope we are surrounded with people that love and care about us...
