Story
Christy and I became kickboxing partners back in 2019 when we joined G Force martial arts school in Rugby. Anita was already a long-standing member (and an ex colleague of mine) so the 3 of us push each other to do better and train harder. We’ve become good friends and after a tough year of lockdown we decided to take part in some fitness challenges and to raise money for some charities close to our hearts so we are taking part in the Mudnificent 7 event on Saturday 7th August to raise money for the Myton Hospices. A fantastic event that supports our local hospices that provide so much care and support for people in our community. We will be doing some extra training in preparation for this fantastic event and keep you posted here so keep your eyes peeled :)
A video showing the kind of mayhem we will get up to here: https://youtu.be/Vsb7IDdUJ40
Any donation you can give will be gratefully received. We have pledged to raise a minimum of £300.00 to secure our charity places at the event but anything over that would be great to help support this amazing charity :)
At The Myton Hospices they believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; They focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. They are leaders in compassionate end of life care; their work centres on our patients and involving them in decisions about their care. Perhaps most importantly they give them more quality time with their loved ones. Last year they supported more than 1,800 people and their families, in their three hospices, via their patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
