Assalamu alaikum (Peace be upon you all),

On the 17th of May, my brothers and I will be running 10 km while fasting to raise funds for severely malnourished children in Yemen, insha Allah.

Yemen is experiencing the greatest humanitarian catastrophe since the second world war. It is truly shocking that every ten minutes, a child in Yemen will die of starvation!

Our goal is to provide life saving treatment for 65 Yemeni children this Ramadan. The cost of this life saving treatment is €30 per child.

Allah (swt) has told us in the holy Qur'an 5:32 "Whoever saves a life, it is as if they have saved the lives of all mankind."

The prophet Muhammad (pbuh) also told us that the reward for sadaqah during Ramadan is multiplied seventy times!
Let us take this opportunity to earn these incredible rewards from Allah (swt).
