Greensand Country Challenge for Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group · 1 October 2020

We are the childhood cancer experts working to improve treatment, care and outcomes.

Story

Having heard of three friends, who have sadly had to go through cancer and Leukemia with their young daughters, it is clear that treatment is archaic, research into childhood cancer is grossly underfunded and there is a desperate need for greater awareness and increased funding.

We've been desperate to do something to help and this October, we've decided to take on a challenge that will test our mental and physical stamina, as we attempt to run the 40+ miles of the Greensand Ridge, covering areas of Milton Keynes, Central Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. The challenge will be split into 4 sections, with the full cross-country route covered over 4 days and within 4 weeks.

We're taking on the Greensand Country challenge to raise awareness and funds for the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group, a charity for those involved in the treatment and care of children with cancer.

Each week in the UK and Ireland, more than 30 children are diagnosed with cancer. This charity brings together professionals to ensure all children receive the best possible treatment and care. It supports young patients and their families with award winning, expert information and funds and supports research into childhood cancers.

Please do whatever you can to help spread the
word... oh and wish us luck, we're going to need it!
