The Lakes of the UK are supporting Level Water and are asking you to jump in, swim and raise money for bespoke swimming lessons for children with disabilities across the UK
Story
Having fibromyalgia means that any physical activity takes a huge toll on my body and I regularly deal with whole body pain and debilitating exhaustion. I have been swimming and using cold water immersion to help cope with the pain. When I started at the lake swimming in March 2019 getting half way round the lake was a big deal. Before this month the most I had ever swim in one go was just 700m. So getting to 3k without causing myself to relapse and be in extreme pain is going to take some doing but as I know the benefits of being in the water can be transformational and I think any charity that can help everyone have access to that experience is worth all the time and effort.
if anyone can show there support by making a donation please do. such a great cause and every penny counts -

At Level Water, we use the power of swimming to improve lives for children with disabilities.
Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water.
