The School Charity of the Year for 2021-2022 has been chosen in memory of the Late OC Dr George Edelstyn, an oncologist at Belvoir Park Hospital founded Action Cancer in 1973, with the purpose of funding research into chemotherapy as well as providing support to patients and their families during the treatment processes. Dr Edelstyn was the pioneer of combination cancer chemotherapy.

So the 11 of us have decided to Run two relay teams of 5 and Mr McNerlin is taking on his first marathon! 

Action Cancer is a Northern Ireland charity dedicated to saving lives and supporting people through cancer awareness, prevention, detection and support.
