Story
On Saturday 4th June we will be making our way up (and hopefully down) Ben Lomond as part of the WaterAid Munro Challenge.
We predominately chose Ben Lomond because we were told there is a bar at the top (I think someone was fibbing). Out with the possibility of an alcoholic beverage our motivation is to raise as much money for WaterAid as possible.
If you were to use my apple watch as an example of poor average steps you'll know that this will be a challenge for all of us but in reality we will be walking for just one day. Predominately woman across the world have to walk long distances just to get access to water.
1 in 10 people don't have access to clean water. This statistic is unimaginable in Scotland with the ease we utilise the best water in the world (no bias).
Even more sobering is understanding that every minute a newborn baby dies from infection caused by a lack of clean water.
Water Is Life.
So please help us reach our fundraising goal and support this amazing charity in ending the water, sanitation and hygiene crisis together - for everyone, everywhere.
