Fowler Welch have chosen the Child Brain Injury Trust as their Charity of the year. Over the next 12 months, they will be raising awareness and fundraising for CBIT with events and initiatives supported by their local Charity champions.

Story

The CBIT is particularly important to Fowler Welch as their support has been invaluable over the past year to our colleague, Chris Harte, whose young son was involved in a serious road traffic accident involving a bus on 16th April 2021, in which he suffered severe injuries to his face and head. Although the outward injuries have healed, the impact of the brain injury that occurred has been life changing for Chris and his family. Our goal is to raise as much money as possible for this incredible charity, whilst also raising awareness of the work they do to enable them to reach out and support more families who are facing these life changing events.

Every half an hour in the UK, a child or young person will acquire a brain injury. The Child Brain Injury Trust provides information, support and training to anyone affected by this devastating and life changing condition. Visit our website www.childbraininjurytrust.org.uk to find out more about us and the work we do.
