The Development Trust is hoping to attract a team of enthusiastic runners to help us beat our £4.5 million target for cancer research at the University of Aberdeen. With new research estimating that one in two of us will get cancer in our lifetime, we need your support to help us discover better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat this terrible disease. Aberdeen is aiming to save and improve countless lives by developing a world-class cancer research programme in the heart of Aberdeen. The programme will lead not only to excellent patient care but to pioneering research and high levels of participation in clinical trials which will have a global impact.
