Story

Thanks for visiting our page.

We intend to raise £1,000 towards groundbreaking Breast Cancer research and treatment by cycling 170 miles in three days, from one side of the country to the other.

Our overall target is to raise £1,000,000 to enable the University of Nottingham to detect cancer early, stop cancer from spreading and develop personalised treatments for cancer sufferers. Nottingham is home to the world’s first blood test to detect lung cancer and the research platform is now ready to target breast and other solid cancers. With our Breast Cancer Research Team of the Year in place, we are ready to make a genuine difference in combating this disease and developing effective treatment for cancer sufferers.

Managing breast cancer and its consequences for patients is an increasingly pressing challenge. Every year nearly 58,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK and 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.
