Story
A few months ago I found out I had MS. It came as a complete shock, and meant I had to make the big decision to move back to Leeds so I can be supported by my family. I still work in Market Harborough, and so through the month of May I will be walking 100 miles (the distance to work from my new home) to raise money for the MS Trust.
The MS Trust has been a massive help already in the early days of my diagnosis providing me with reliable information so I can choose treatment and deal with symptoms. I would love to give something back.
The MS Trust is a UK charity that believes nobody should have to manage multiple sclerosis alone. They are there for everyone effected by MS, from moment of diagnosis and throughout their journey. They're here today, tomorrow and every day after, making sure a life with MS isn't a life defined by MS.
The MS Trust receive no government or NHS funding. It's only thanks to the generosity of our supporters, such as The incredible MS Trust London Marathon Team that they continue their work.
Did you know:
£6 could pay for one copy of an MS information book, which can help a person with MS better understand their condition.
£15 could pay for one of our information specialists to provide telephone support to a person with MS.
£100 could cover the cost to provide our Making Sense of MS guide to everybody diagnosed with MS in one week.
