To celebrate 10 years of Black Cat Day and to raise funds to help the cats that pass through our centre, six members of staff are taking part in a Socially distanced sponsored Creepy Camp Out challenge. The challenge is to spend one night in the cold, dark, eerie woods near our centre on 28th October.

By sponsoring us you will be helping cats like Frankie who came to us with a skin condition causing nasty sores on his face and  Bailey and her siblings who had to be hand reared from a couple of days old after being abandoned at a local vets.

* 44% of cats homed through Cats Protection centres in the
last 10 years have been black or black and white cats.

*Over the last 10 years our centres have homed over 65,000
black and black and white cats.

*In the last 5 years, we’ve reduced the length of stay for
black/black and white cats in our care by 21% (from 47 days to 36 days)
