Dereham adoption Centre is currently undergoing a much needed refurbishment of the centre. This refurbishment will provide better facilities and care to the many cats in our care making their stay with us as stress free and enjoyable as possible.

Cats Protection rely solely on the kind donations of the general public therefore every penny donated will go towards the extensive costs associated with this project.

Some of those costs include such items as the wonderful feline forts. Feline forts are the perfect way to offer hospitalised cats a place to hide; a behaviour which research suggests reduces stress. Each fort costs the charity £30 and the new centre will have 42 pens, each pen needing 1, if not 2, forts for the cats to feel happy, stress free and relaxed. To us no cost is too much to ensure the cats in our care are as happy and content as they can be until they find their forever home.
