Cats Protection relies entirely upon our supporters to raise funds and because of your generosity we have been able to home over 16,000 cats since the centre opened 16 years ago. Friends of Derby adoption centre volunteer their time to help raise much needed funds to ensure that the cats have comfortable secure pens with lots of enrichment such as toys, snuggly cat bedding and heated pads.

We spend an average £150 on each cat before they leave the centre on vet bills, neutering, microchips and general care, this ensures that by adopting from us you can adopt a cat with confidence. 

During 2015 1,052 cats came in to the centre and we found homes for 1,011 which are amazing results and we need your support to continue helping to find loving homes. 

Every penny raised through this appeal will go towards the support of cats currently in our care which is anywhere between 150 & 200 at any time, with over 160 waiting to come in.
