Story
Our team at Cats Protection Bridgend have been working
tirelessly through the pandemic to help cats and kittens. Due to the COVID restrictions, and reduced staff numbers, we have been focusing on helping the most vulnerable cats and people.
Cats like 15 year old Fluff who was admitted into our care
because his owner was ill in hospital with Dementia and an elderly family member was struggling to care for him.
Fluff is a lovely cat, he needed surgery to remove sun damaged areas
from his ears and a tumour from his toe. He is making a good recovery.
Clyde was admitted to us because his owner was moving and
couldn’t take him or his sibling with him. He had long term damage to his eye, our vet believed this was causing him discomfort and he had surgery to have it removed, he is recovering well from surgery.
Beeboo was admitted into our care because her owner sadly
passed away, she needed surgery to remove a bladder stone and is now fully recovered.
Our vet bills run into £1000’s every month, we don’t receive
any government funding and are reliant on people’s generosity. Your donation will help cats like Fluff and Clyde on their way to a healthier and happier life. We realise that times are difficult at the moment, so we appreciate your kindness even more.
