Story
Squeak is an 8 week old, female, stray kitten that was noticed to be injured and was handed into a local veterinary practice by a concerned member of public. The veterinary practice then contacted Cats Protection to see if we could help. Squeak was then transferred into the care of the Belfast Adoption Centre and she subsequently underwent a tail amputation for a badly broken and painful tail injury. Squeak is recovering post surgery here at the centre and is already a real hit with the staff and volunteers alike. Squeak is taking everything in her stride and hasn’t been fazed by all she has been through in her short life so far. Her tail amputation is healing well and her remaining stumpy tail just adds to her already adorable character.
Our appeal is to help toward the costs of Squeak's treatment and aftercare; and to provide a happy ending to this 'tail' when she is finally ready to be placed in her forever home!
Any donations over and above will go towards the many other cats and kittens that come into our care.
