Story
Hi guys, I've decided to raise some money to donate to mental heath services which really need our support too during this time. With everything that's going on, people's mental health can really suffer in lots of different ways. Existing mental health problems can be exacerbated during times of extreme stress and those who have never suffered from mental health problems may find themselves struggling. Whether its through loss of a loved one or anxiety over work, heath, uncertainty or just making sure our loved ones are safe.
I have set myself a challenge of running 5k every day for the next 7 days. I'm not a runner so hopefully that is doable! 😂 I would like to run to raise money for @aware_ni , a charity who support those with depression, anxiety and bipolar. Encouraging positive mental health is so so important during this time! I would love your support and any donation would be much appreciated.
AWARE is the depression charity for Northern Ireland - and the only charity working exclusively for people with depression and bipolar disorder by providing education and support. With 1 in 4 people experiencing depression at some point in our lives, AWARE's mission is to promote emotional health and well-being, help people build resilience and maintain positive mental health. The current social distancing measures are putting a strain on the mental health of many in Northern Ireland. AWARE will strive to continue to be a source of support for those who need it but need your help. With AWARE's fundraising events being put on hold due to COVID-19, they need support from people like you so they can continue supporting people who are struggling with their mental health, particularly at this difficult time. All funds raised will go towards supporting those living in Northern Ireland with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Thank you!#HomeAndAWARE
