I'm a member of Breakthrough 100 - a group of women in Scotland who have each pledged to raise £1,000 over 12 months for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.  Breakthrough is a great cause and the money they raise and then put into research UK wide is making a real difference in the fight against Breast Cancer.

I've already raised some money from a dress down day at work and bucket collecting at Hearts FC.  I felt the next thing I wanted to do in order to raise more money would need to be a really challenging event - those who know me well know that my first attempt at an open water triathlon was really tough and, as a result, I've decided to it again this August and put myself back through the paces!

Your donation will really help inspire me on the day and I'm sure it will help get me through the gruelling swim, bike and run!
