Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I’m running the London Marathon this April 28th and I am fundraising for The MS Society Scotland. As many of you are aware, my lovely mum lived with Multiple Sclerosis for most of her adult life and she very sadly died in 2013. This year she would have turned 70. Mum always lived life to the full and she did a lot to raise awareness of MS and fundraised throughout her life so I’m doing my best to carry her legacy on.
I’m also organising a 20 mile race on Sunday 7th April, from Cramond through the beautiful Dalmeny Estate over the Forth Road Bridge and back again. Any other runners out there who fancy a challenge or need to do a long run before London or Stirling marathons would be welcome to come and join me on the start line. I say ‘race’ but I’m hoping for a more sociable group run! It’s open to men and women.
Please get in touch with me directly for an entry form, catrionabruce@icloud.com
I’m also looking for help with marshalling the race if you have some spare time that morning (Sun 7th April).
Monies raised for the run are also for the MS Society Scotland in memory of my lovely mum and to help friends and others currently living with MS. Every little helps so please only give what you can afford
