WOW done it! and my legs didnt fall off either! We did it in 2 hours 50 minutes, with a bit of power walking, it didnt rain and we got to have a bacon butty at the end! There was a great atmosphere throughout, and Id definatly do it again. Thank you so much for all your support Cxxx

A whole DECADE ago (it still feels like yesterday) Mum spent her final days in a CancerCare Hospice, where we were all treated with great compassion. In the months that followed CancerCare were there for me still - with counselling, aromatherapy massages, cups of tea and lots of tissues. Although Im a little slow (!) in showing my gratitude to them for all the care and consideration they gave us as a family, I fully believe that they deserve all the support we can offer, so that they can care for many more families in the years to come.

Louise and I have been in training since Christmas, with weekly 2 hr stomps / gossips rediscovering parts of kendal Im not sure I knew existed in the first place, accompanied by freya-dog. The Starwalk starts at 9pm on Saturday 8th May, and we are hoping for a clear night, that our legs dont turn to jelly too soon and to try and compleate it before midnight! Cheerleaders along the route would be more than welcome!
