On the 12th April I will be abseiling Leasowe lighthouse in memory of my beautiful sister in law Andrea who passed away in December 2013.We all miss her greatly and want to try and raise as much money as we can for her chosen charity which is the Book Bus,The Book Bus brings the joy of reading to children in Africa, Asia and South America. School populations in these regions are growing steadily but often the supply of teachers and facilities cannot keep up with the demand for education. This means that child literacy rates are actually falling in many countries. One of the countries the Book Bus supports is Equador, Andrea fell in love with this country and it's people on her travels and wanted to somehow support the children in particular.

Those of you who know me well will appreciate how difficult abseiling  may be for me as I'm terrified of heights!!

I would be very grateful for donations big or small.I am hoping to raise £100 but would love to raise more.
