On 12th May 2012, my beautiful niece lost her life to cancer aged 9. She broke my heart, 2 years later I am fixing it by living a life and being positive just as Ali would want.

On September 19th I will be 40. I plan on having 40 new experiences during a year. When possible I will be raising money for the Macmillan cancer charity as the nurses were fantastic in supporting us as a family to care for, and make Alisha's life as much fun as possible. Cancer does not care what damage it does. It destroys families and breaks hearts. Pleas help me raise as much money for this amazing charity so they can carry on their amazing work by helping people fighting this horrendous disease.

We lost Alisha when she was only 9. she didn't experience life as most people do. She was always so bubbly & happy and a massive inspiration to me. In her memory I will make a fool of myself, scare myself and do things I never thought I would do. I know Alisha will be with me, in spirit and she will experience them through me.
