We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2010 my mum was diagnosed with Diabetes and had 5 toes amputated because of the disease. Thanks to the doctors and nurses at Stepping Hill and Wythenshawe Hospital after a 6 month stay in hospital she is home and learning to walk again.

more recently my dad had a toe amputated due to long standing diabetes. Please sponsor me for the Great North Run - September 18th 2011 so I can help people like my parents become aware of this awful disease so they dont have to go through what we have.

Diabetes is one of the major causes of premature illness and death worldwide and affects adults and children alike. Dont let you be one of them.
