Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 12 May I am aiming to walk 100k from Richmond to Brighton.  With Jane Cooper and 4 others in our team we hope to complete the challenge in less than 24 hours, walking through the night to arrive in Brighton for breakfast (or maybe lunch).  It is a very long way and there seem to be rather a lot of hills to climb but we are doing this in memory of a dear friend Claire Wilson who died from ovarian cancer in January.  Claire spent her life doing stuff for others, both professionally where she was one of the best charity fundraisers in the business and personally as wife to Lloyd, mother to Lauren, Ellie and Jake,  and friend to so many.

Please spare a few pounds for Ovarian Cancer Action which will go to fund research and raise awareness of this devastating disease.

Thank you and wish me luck!

We are the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. In the UK only 1 in 3 women live more than 10 years after diagnosis. We are working to better prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, so that by 2032 at least half of women with ovarian cancer live for 10 years.
