Hi everyone. 

Many of you might already know, but I’m embarking on my second cancer treatment in 3 years. I successfully beat an advanced cervical cancer diagnosis in 2015/16 and now am sorting out totally unrelated breast cancer. When you calculate it out, I’m 1in a quarter of a million apparently. Makes me feel better when I say that lol - though many people would say I was always a bit ‘special’ 😆🙈

In advance of losing my locks, I’m going for a luxurious hair colour transformation prior to my chemotherapy commencing on 16th April 2019. It will come as no surprise that I’m going to indulge myself in my passion for all things flamingo, and go PINK! The staff at my salon  “HAIRPLAY by Alex” in Portadown are offering up their time and expertise to help me raise funds for my nominated charity: PREVENT BREAST CANCER. This is the only UK charity dedicated solely to channelling their resources into preventing the disease. As a medical professional myself, I believe that prevention is better than cure, so am directing my fundraising towards this.
