Story
Hi, my name is Cathy,
I am going to run my first ever marathon this April.
All through the winter I have been training hard, throughout all of this training I have been joined by my beautiful dog who has trained just as hard as I have.
We have covered hundreds of miles running cross country together in some very cold and often wet weather and she has never once refused to run with me. No matter how cold or wet it has been, she has been there with me every step of the way and she has spurred me on many times when I felt like giving up and walking.
So, choosing who to raise money has been an easy decision for me. The work that Battersea dogs home do is truly amazing. They never turn away a dog and turn helplessness into hope for over 9,000 dogs and cats every year. My dog is very lucky, she is a big lovable doberman and she is loved by all the family, other dogs and cats are not so lucky. So please help by giving as much as you can. In return I promise that we will continue to train as hard as we can and I will absolutely promise that I will cross that finish line on the 26th April and do both myself and Harper (my dog) proud.
thank you, love from both of us xx
