Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've talked enough about it, but finally, this year, I'll be taking on an iron-distance triathlon! This involves a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and finally, a marathon (26.2 miles). I've already started training: 6 months of early starts, laps of the pool and muddy trainers. I'm really excited... I think....!
In preparation for taking on The Bastion on 10th July at Hever Castle, I am racing 2 marathons - Brighton and London on back-to-back weekends, a half ironman (70.3 miles) and 3 half marathons: hence the 300 miles of racing in 2016!
Medic Malawi is a charity that it incredibly important to me, and a charity that does amazing work with amazing people. Your donation will help fund work that the charity does across a huge range of projects - from eye surgeries: removing cataracts from elderly people who've been completely blind for years, to buying seeds to grow food in the malnutrition centre garden, to making sure all the children in the Orphan House can go to school.
Pounds go an awfully long way in Malawi, and your kindness will make a huge difference to so many lives.
If you want to keep updated on my training, please follow me on Twitter (@cathydrewbies) or Instagram (cathydrewbies) and I'll be writing about my training on my blog too: www.runslikeadog.wordpress.com
Thank you so much in advance.
