Princess Alice Hospice provided the highest quality end of life care for my mum, and for that my family will always be grateful. Dealing with loss is extremely hard, and for that reason my family and I were all offered grief counselling at the hospice.

This scheme is run by volunteers, it was completely free, and you can see your counsellor for as long or as little as you need. I used this service for the majority of 2013, and I would like to see it carry on to support other people who have lost a family member.

I've never run 10k before, but I'm hoping to complete the track in less than an hour... So please donate what you can, I'm going to be training hard in the next few months to achieve my goal!
