Hi everyone!
Please support me as I run the London Marathon on 22 April 2018.
As many of you know, I am partially deaf in my left ear due to being run over when I was 15 years old. I fractured my skull and broke the bones in my middle ear which left me with tinnitus and hearing loss but also gave me the opportunity to learn how lip read! This, as you all know, has never stopped me!!
So I would be very grateful if you could sponsor me as I attempt to run 26.219 miles to raise money for Action on Hearing Loss which is the largest charity for people with hearing loss in the UK. They provide information and raise awareness of deafness, hearing loss and tinnitus, offer communication services such as sign language interpreters, campaign to change laws and government policies, give training courses and consultancy on deafness and disability as well as providing care for deaf and hard of hearing people with additional needs.
