Cancer affects not just those suffering directly, but all of us who have people close to us fighting their battle. I have seen friends lose their loved ones to the battle and when the sorrow fades and the grief subsides, the best thing we can do is join the fight and help others.

I am running the Race for Life's Pretty Muddy obstacle course with nine other crazy ladies; "Lady Muckers" to raise money for a great cause that can help others beat cancer and sway the battle in our favour.
