My beautiful grandson Sebastian Michael Richmond Smart was still born at 37 weeks gestation. A perfect baby boy weighing 9lbs 9ozs and despite all the medical tests, no explanation could be found.  Stillbirth affects 7 in every thousand families in the western world and I am raising money for SANDs who offer support to families going through such devastating times.  One in three stillbirths happen at or near full term when they could survive if they were delivered.  Research is desperately needed to help prevent more babies dying unnecessarily.
