Story
Before the pandemic I ran the stunningly beautiful Race to the Stones across the ancient ridgeway path in the Chilterns.
It was in the middle of a heatwave and the hills were a bit of a shocker for someone used to running in London, but I’ve been wanting to do it again ever since. Despite a broken toe last month, 2022 is the year!
Last time I ran the race in 2 parts over 2 days. This year I’m running non-stop. Same course, new challenge.
I’m running to raise money for the utterly amazing Running Charity. The team works with young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to build resilience and self-esteem. Because running is as good for your mind as it is for your body.
We all know that running can improve fitness but it can also instil a goal-setting mentality. Both are key tools in helping vulnerable young people to build healthy, sustainable futures.
Please sponsor me to help the Running Charity support more young people into a brighter future.
