Airedale Hospital & Community Charity is proud to be supporting the Airedale community now and into the future.
2020 is Airedale Hospital’s 50th anniversary
Many events in the UK have been postponed or cancelled due to COVID-19 and sadly that means our 50th anniversary celebrations will look slightly different than planned. Now more than ever we would love you to get involved in fundraising for our hospital whilst celebrating this special occasion.
The Acute Assessment Unit (AAU) team have decided that our children will fundraise for this special occasion. Everyone on the AAU have worked extremely hard for the last few months, many working differently than normal, many working additional hours. We have missed our families and have been missed by our little special people however they are really proud.
Our AAU children will be sponsored to complete a picture of their choice, whether that’s their experience or a picture of their loved one. Whether it’s Mummy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandad, Auntie, Uncle, Cousin.... whoever they are! It will be dedicated to them. Saying why they are proud of them.
These pictures will form a memory wall on AAU which will be really special for our staff (their loved ones) and our patients.
Please sponsor our children to raise as much funds as possible for this special cause. Throughout all this they have been our rock and are our heroes!
