I am running the Great North Run in memory of Charlotte Horrillo, who passed away on July 15th 2012 after battling a very rare cancer for nearly four years.

The Christie is a Manchester based hospital which specialises and cares for so many patients and families suffering with cancer, and is where Charlotte had much of her treatment.

Charlotte was a diamond, a selfless talented woman who made those around her feel so happy and loved, and we miss her terribly.
