I am doing the night walk for North Devon Hospice in memory of two amazing and inspirational women: 

My Auntie Vera (Watts) and her life long friend I always knew and called Auntie Dorothy (Towell)

They were two of the four women who were instrumental in the creation of the North Devon Hospice in the 1980's. I believe when a friend became ill, they saw the need in the local community for this type of care.  

   They  were front runners in recycling.... raising much needed funds for the North Devon Hospice by tirelessly making new Christmas Cards out of old recycled ones.  They were two of the kindest, giving and humble women that I've ever known  

I am honoured to do the 2023 Night Walk in their memory
