Earlier this year we lost our dad Brian to cancer.  His brave battle against this terrible disease had lasted over a year and he finally passed away at home on 12th July.  To die at home was his final wish and without the support and kindness of the LOROS nurses this would not have been possible.  They supported not only my dad but his wife and our stepmum Wendy and my sister and I.  

In February I am going to compete in the Jordan Race which is a 150 mile self sufficiency foot race across three deserts in Jordan.  It is over 6 days and equates to five and a half marathons in 6 days.  We have to carry everything we need for the 6 days except water and a tent (which we have to share with 7-9 other people).
