Story

As many of you will no I have had guide dogs for many years all of who were trained by the wonderful staff  at the guide dog centre in Cork. My 1st been Perry a huge big golden retriever who was the one who brought many change to my life. Unfortunately perry had to retire at the age of 6 due to a health problem but lived with us until he died at the age of ten. Then there was Ashley another big golden retriever with a different personality all together and who only worked for 2 years due to a fear he had of traveling which for me was not good as you all no were always going somewhere then along came Ivan another retriever well this boy travelled and worked like a trouper right up until he was 10 and then he had a big retirement party to celebrate the wonderful years of work he gave me and he continues to live with us now and will continue to help with fundraising country music was his greatest love or maybe it was all the attention he got from all the artist and fans. Last but buy no means least I now have Uska completely different in every way a black lab/ retriever cross very lively girl who just craves attention but loves to work. Guide dogs give there owners great independence and confidence.
