On October 10th, I will be taking part in The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon. I’ve never done anything like this before so training is proving to be hard work but I’m determined to complete the race as I’m running for a really great charity, St Mungos. I chose St Mungo’s because nearly every day I pass homeless people at Waterloo station and around London. Although I desperately want to help them, I know that giving them money may not always be the answer and the kind of help they need. St Mungos is a great charity that seeks to tackle the causes and consequences of homelessness in London and the South of England and doesn't just give people a place to sleep; it also provides health services and semi-independent housing, and has a terrific programme of work and learning services - teaching people skills such as gardening, bricklaying, plastering and so on. They also help with job searching, CVs and other skills vital for giving people a chance to break the cycle of homelessness. So please help me to support St Mungos and the good work they do.Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
