We build mobile cancer care units to give those with cancer extra time

Story

My sister, Helen and I have decided to do something completely out of our comfort zone and run the Reading half marathon after my nephew-in-law and my sister’s Son-In-Law Ross, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma last summer at the age of 21. He is marrying my niece in March and they have a beautiful daughter Faith who's 9 months old.

He has undergone 6 months of intense chemotherapy, a course of treatments that would have been made much easier if he didn’t have to travel.

We're delighted to say that it looks like he has won the fight and has been given the inital all clear. We are absolutely delighted for him but it was heartbreaking to see them, so young, having to face such a dreadful disease.

I know these are tough times, but please help us raise much needed funds for such a worthy cause. Many Thanks

Cath and Helen xxx
